The small local town of Moonambel is located in the centre on the Winery district of the Pyrenees Ranges and two and a quarter comfortable hours drive from Melbourne.

Directions

Access is via the Western and Sunraysia Highways.

From Melbourne
Take the Ring Road onto the Western Highway. Approx 1 hour to Ballarat, keep on bypass road past Ballarat. On the Adelaide side of Ballarat turn left and then right onto crossover to Sunraysia Highway and continue to Avoca. Keep on Sunraysia Highway for approx 8 minutes past Avoca and turn left toward Moonambel. 1 km past Moonambel pub turn right into Mountain Creek Road and you can't miss us.

From Adelaide
Turn left off Western Highway at the BP station in Stawell. Stay on this road through Stawell until you come to St Arnaud turn-off on left. Go through to Navarre. Turn right at General Store. Go for 1km turn left to Avoca. This will bring you to Moonbeam Cottages in Moonambel. Look for signs on left coming into Moonambel.
